SGD Time Deposit Promotion Application Form
Please note:
  1. You are applying for a single name SGD Time Deposit Account.
  2. Promotional interest rate is applicable for a minimum placement amount of S$60,000 (fresh funds). There is no maximum placement amount.
  3. You will need to issue a non Maybank cheque drawn in your name from your single name account with any other bank operating in Singapore. Please visit a Maybank branch if you do not have a non Maybank cheque.
  4. Mail in application is only available to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. Please visit a Maybank branch if you are a foreigner.
What you need:
  1. Photocopy of your NRIC (front and back).
  2. An original bank statement (non-credit card/loans) of not more than 3 months ago from any bank operating in Singapore.
  3. Time Deposit placement amount in the form of a cheque drawn in your name from your personal account (non joint-account) with any bank operating (excluding Maybank) in Singapore. Please note that Cashier's Orders will not be accepted.
Deposit Insurance Scheme
Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$50,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the CPF Investment Scheme and CPF Retirement Sum Scheme are aggregated and separately insured up to S$50,000 for each depositor per Scheme member. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
